A 79-year-old pilot is lucky to be alive after his airplane crashed in Plainville, Connecticut on Monday.
In the video, you can see the plane swoop in and collide into a tree as the aircraft tried but failed to maneuver around it.
Manfred Frost, the pilot, told NBC News he was on his way to eat breakfast when suddenly his plane crashed into a tree and tumbled to the ground.
Fortunately, Frost only suffered minor injuries due to the crash and was taken to a local hospital.
The crash happened in a parking lot close to the Robertson Field Airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration is currently conducting an investigation.
