A 45-year-old Dartmouth man is facing child pornography charges following a search of a residence by police Wednesday.
Police say they received information Nov. 25, 2016 regarding online child pornography, involving pictures of young children on a social media site.
At 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched a Lynwood Drive residence and seized a number of electronic devices for analysis.
They arrested a man inside the residence.
Mark Christopher Church appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court Wednesday to face three counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
