RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate stolen equipment from a Nova Scotia business.
On Aug. 23, police received a report from a business in Port Hastings, N.S., that has some equipment was stolen.
RCMP were able to obtain video footage from a nearby establishment that showed two people in a pickup truck taking a trailer and excavator. A jackhammer was also stolen from the business.
Police say the suspect truck was last seen travelling along Highway 105 towards Sydney after leaving Port Hastings.
The stolen items are described as:
- 2013 Kubota Excavator, orange in colour, Model: KX91-3, valued at $45,000.
- 2005 LWL Platform Trailer, yellow in colour, NS Licence plate T337911valued at $6,000.
- Caterpillar jackhammer (accessory for the excavator) model HD655, valued at $20,000.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Nova Scotia RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
