Two people have been injured in a small plane crash off the coast of Tofino.
The Transportation Safety Board says the private plane went down and flipped onto Vargas beach Tuesday afternoon.

The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre responded and the two passengers were taken to hospital.
The state of their injuries is unknown at this time.
It’s also not known where the plane was headed, or why it went down.
