Vancouver police find missing 11-year-old boy

Vancouver Police said an 11-year-old boy who was reported missing has been found safe and sound.

Police said the boy was biking with his family in Stanley Park and was last seen around Vancouver’s Second Beach just after 12 p.m. Wednesday.

He was located in New Westminster early Wednesday evening by an off-duty police officer.

The child said he biked the whole way and was looking for a public building where he could call home.
