The dog went missing a year ago and was likely stolen.
Now it’s back where it belongs.
Salmon Arm RCMP were recently contacted by a woman saying she believed she knew where her missing pet was.

Officers found it with a man, and because the dog has an identification tattoo, were able to prove its real owner.
“The return of the dog made a young girl and her family very happy,” said police in a news release.
RCMP investigated the man for theft and possession of stolen property but charges were not laid.
