The New York Police Department (NYPD) has released surveillance camera footage of a 78-year-old man fighting back after two men attempted to assault and rob him.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred last Wednesday inside a Shorty’s Deli in Brooklyn. Police say one of the men approached and then assaulted the 78-year-old as captured on store security cameras.

However, the unidentified assailant soon had his hands full with the elderly gentleman, who shoved him backwards on multiple occasions despite being struck by the younger man.
