3 years later, owner finds missing Vancouver dog in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — An emotional reunion for Terra McCabe and her dog Daisy in Winnipeg’s Richardson International Airport Friday.

Terra McCabe never imagined in her wildest dreams that she would get a phone call three years after Daisy went missing, saying she was found, and in Winnipeg of all places nearly 2,000 kilometres from home.

While McCabe said Daisy didn’t recognize her initially, she’s confident the 13-year-old dog will recognize her owner once she’s back home in familiar territory.
