A man was seriously injured in an industrial accident in Halifax on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called Adelaide Avenue in Fairview shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Exactly what led to the accident is still unclear. It’s reported a worker at the site heard a scream and ran out to see a man with his leg cut open.
Police will only say the man suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital.
The Department of Labour is on scene and investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
