KELOWNA – RCMP are hoping tips from the public will help find two men who robbed a Kelowna jewellery store.
The heist happened Tuesday just before 5 p.m. at Cooper Jewellers at the Orchard Plaza shopping centre.
Police say two employees were bound for several minutes while the robbers loaded up an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
“It is believed that the suspects, who may have been spooked by a member of the public outside the store, fled the area in a dark coloured SUV headed towards Springfield Road,” states a news release issued by Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.
The suspects are both described as tall, dark-skinned males with slender builds.
They had black clothing and one was wearing a mask.
