Masked man armed with butcher knife flees Saskatoon business with cash

Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place in Saskatoon’s Nutana SC neighbourhood on Saturday afternoon.

At around 3:30 p.m. CT, a man entered a business in the 2900-block of Louise Street and produced a large butcher knife.

The man made off with an undetermined amount of money. He was last seen travelling northbound on Arlington Avenue toward Taylor Street in a grey Ford Escort.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, six-foot three and had a black mask covering his face. He was wearing a black hooded winter jacket, black pants and black fleece gloves.

No injuries were reported.
