Country Pumpkin cashier Beryl Johnstone said everyone was “very sad that he was missing”.

“I’m very happy that Walter is back,” Johnstone said.

Walter will get to ride on a float in the Fredericton Santa Claus parade on Nov. 26, along with his brother Clifford.

“We’ll see if he enjoys wearing anything Christmasy,” Cardinal said.  “He’s a goat [so] he might eat it instead”

Johnstone says Walter is a “happy goat” now that he’s home safe and sound.
