The city’s first snowfall has arrived as Montrealers woke up to snowy white flakes covering the ground…the trees…their cars…
With gusty winds and slippery roads, Environment Canada is warning commuters to be careful.
The City of Montreal wrote on Twitter it has already deployed several trucks to clear and salt the streets.
Montreal is expected to receive between five and 10 centimetres of snow.
The system is already affecting the Ontario border and the southern part of the Eastern Townships.
And don’t forget – Quebec’s winter tire deadline is Dec. 15.
