Man arrested in Texas for trying to vote twice in U.S. election

A man was arrested in Fort Bend County, Texas on Tuesday night for attempting to vote twice.

According to a tweet from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, the man claimed that he was just testing the system and that he worked for Republican candidate Donald Trump.

This isn’t the first time this presidential election someone tried to vote multiple times.

A woman was arrested in Iowa for casting early ballots in two locations last week. The local newspaper, the Des Moines Register, reported that she was a registered Republican. The woman, Terri Rote, told Iowa Public Radio that she voted twice for Trump because “the polls are rigged.”
