A busy Kelowna developer is looking to keep the ball rolling for the next few years.
The Mission Group is applying to rezone lakeshore property and build a new resort.
The City of Kelowna has received a rezoning application for a 350 unit lakeshore resort called Aqua.
The developer has held two meetings with neighbours and say the majority support towers above 15 storeys.
The property on the lake that would be home to the new resort is currently zoned for single family residential and needs to go through the process of being zoned for tourist commercial.
The proposed rezone will be looked at by council this fall.
If successful, the development would begin presales next summer.
