A motorcyclist and his passenger were caught on tape while they kicked and punched a driver and his car.
It happened Saturday afternoon on the northbound lanes of Autoroute 15, near exit 27 in Saint-Jerome.
At one point, the man loses his glasses and phone, only to have them crushed by the heel of one of the assailants.
The Sûreté du Québec responded to a call but the motorcyclist and the passenger had left the scene.
No complaint has been filed, however the SQ is investigating.

Officers took information from witnesses and are currently trying to locate the motorcyclist to get his version of the incident.
Sergeant Audrey-Anne Bilodeau with the Sûreté du Québec says incidents like these serve as a reminder to follow the rules of the road.
“Stay calm, don’t react to what other people may say to provoke you and don’t be aggressive,” Bilodeau said.
“If someone commits an infraction to the Road Safety or Criminal codes, write down the licence plate, a description of the vehicle and the person who commits the infraction.”
Bilodeau added drivers should always keep their distance from motorcycles and motorcyclists should follow the same rules as any other car does.
