Quebec City police are investigating several reports of sexual assault that allegedly took place in Laval University residences over the weekend.
Police spokesman Jean Pelletier said authorities are looking into four break-ins that allegedly led to two sexual assaults Friday night.

Pelletier said three more break-ins occurred on Saturday which resulted in one more report of sexual assault and two of sexual touching.
In response to the alleged attacks, the university is putting a security agent at the front doors 24/7 in addition to security cameras and doors that are locked at night.
Students have also been instructed to lock the doors to their rooms at night.

Monday morning, a sign was posted outside the residence to show support for the victims.
It says “you are important without a doubt…you are not alone,” quoting the victim of Stanford rapist Brock Turner, a high profile sexual assault case in the U.S.
The university said there are three organizations on campus, which can provide counselling and support to students.
“We want to tell the community and the victims that all our hearts are with them today and we invite them to contact us and we want them to know that all the resources are there for them,” said Laval University spokesperson André-Anne Stewart.
Police said they have identified three possible suspects in their 20’s but no arrests have been made.
They said the alleged aggressors likely did not know their victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
