From Chevy Chase’s rendition of Gerald Ford to Jay Pharoah’s Barack Obama, Saturday Night Live has always taken shots at politicians.
This year is no different with Alec Baldwin portraying Donald Trump while Kate Mackinnon plays Hillary Clinton on the show.

At least one of the two candidates (you can probably guess which) is unhappy with the show.
Trump issued a tweet Sunday morning, saying it is time to put the show out to pasture while also saying Baldwin’s Trump, which has been praised by many, “stinks.”
Of course, it was only last May that Trump appeared on the show.
Baldwin has been SNL’s Trump all season, including last week’s show when it took on the leaked audio tapes in which Trump made lewd comments about women.
On Saturday night, the show began by parodying last Sunday’s presidential debate.
In the introduction, moderators Anderson Cooper played by Alex Moffat and Martha Raddatz played by Cecily Strong, opened the debate with the latter introducing the candidates by saying, “Please help us welcome the candidates, Republican nominee Donald Trump, and can we say this yet? President Hillary Clinton.”
