A second man has been charged in relation to the death of a 19-year-old man who was found shot inside his Conklin home in August 2015.
On Thursday, police arrested 23-year-old Codie Deranger, of Edmonton, and charged him with second-degree murder in Tyler McDermid’s death.
McDermid’s body was found inside his home on Aug. 11, 2015. At the time, RCMP said the fatal shooting was not a random act.
Earlier this year, RCMP charged 21-year-old Trevor Powder with first-degree murder in McDermid’s death.
