Peel police admit there’s not much they can do after a motorcycle “mob” was seen popping wheelies and allegedly running red lights in Mississauga on Sunday.

“There were no incidents that were part of any violence. The only thing that concerned people was the way they were driving,” Const. Harinder Sohi told Global News.

“They left our region and proceeded to Toronto. Based on that, we just don’t have enough information to pursue anything.”

Images posted on social media showed motorcyclists weaving their way through traffic and popping wheelies.

Authorities confirmed a motorcycle crash on Dundas Street West was connected to the mob.

“One motorcycle struck the other motorcycle causing one of them to catch on fire,” Sohi said. “When police arrived on scene, no one was there except for the motorcycle on fire.”

Police said witnesses saw the motorcyclist jump on the back of another motorcycle and left the scene.

Authorities said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Police are investigating to determine the owner of the motorcycle.
