Heritage neighbourhood death declared homicide, victim identified

Police have declared the death of a man in the Heritage neighbourhood in Regina a homicide.

At around 6:25 a.m. Thursday, police were called to the 1700 block of Montreal Street and found a man dead inside a home.

Police have identified the man as Mackenzie Parker Keshane, 19. Next of kin has been notified and no other information has been released. Keshane’s death is the city’s sixth homicide this year.

RPS Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, the Coroner’s Office, and the Community Services Division are investigating.
