Halifax RCMP are investigating a hit-and-run involving a cyclist on St. Margaret’s Bay Road on Monday morning.
Police say a 44-year-old man was riding his bicycle on St. Margret’s Bay Road at 6:45 a.m. when he was hit by a truck which didn’t stop.

The man was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The truck is described as black with a flat deck.
