HAMILTON – Police have confirmed that Finnigan Danne, a missing 12-year-old boy that prompted an Amber Alert, has been found deceased.
After conducting a ground search with help from the canine unit, police say they discovered the boy’s body.
“We are deeply saddened to confirm that missing person Finnigan Danne has been located, deceased,” police said in a news release.
An Amber Alert was called shortly after 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Danne had been reported missing since 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
There were concerns because the boy suffered from a neuromuscular disorder and had limited mobility without a wheelchair.
