A 39-year-old Vaughan man wanted for allegedly throwing coffee at a TTC bus driver has been arrested and charged with assault.
York police managed to identify the suspect after releasing surveillance video of the incident last week in which the accused is seen tossing the brew shortly after 8 a.m. on June 8 at the intersection of Dufferin Street and Dufferin Hill Drive.
Authorities said the man exchanged words with the driver who believed the rider had verbally abused him a month before.
The coffee tossing incident occurred after the accused was asked to leave the bus but refused.
The man was arrested on Tuesday and has been identified as Pavel Osorio.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
