Anyone who’s been following the Kanye West-Kim Karsahian-Taylor Swift debacle will surely love some of the fuel that’s been added to the fire over the past 24 hours. (If you’re out of the loop, click here.)
First up was the appearance of the rapper at a Drake concert on Wednesday night.
During his performance at the Chicago show, the rapper told the crowd, “All I gotta say is I’m so glad my wife has Snapchat. ‘Cause now y’all can know the truth, and can’t nobody talk sh*t about Ye no more!”

To much applause, he went on to start singing Famous.
The tune, which was released in February, referenced Swift in one lyric: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, Why? I made that bitch famous.” West said he called Swift to ask for permission to reference her in the tune; she said he didn’t; Kardashian’s Snapchat proved otherwise.

Then came Thursday’s release of the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. It features West and Kardashian on the cover, and as part of the spread the duo took part in an interview where they discussed everything from their love of music (Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney, apparently) to fashion.
They were also asked a direct question about the 26-year-old pop princess: What’s your favourite Swift song? The 39-year-old rapper replied with, “For me? I don’t have one.”
The 35-year-old reality star followed by saying, “I was such a fan of hers.”
The comments follow a period of relative silence from Swift.
Since Kardashian released the Snapchat of the singer doing something she once claimed she never did, her usually busy social feeds have been relatively quiet. The world is even seeing less of her and her current partner, Tom Hiddleston.
Elaine Lui over at Lainey Gossip put the current sentiment toward the songstress best: “She’s in retreat. She is in serious retreat… In accusing him of blindsiding her, she never bothered to give us the entire picture. She never bothered to tell us that Kanye was actually really nice to her on the phone. She never bothered to share that he shared some of his lyrics. Most importantly, she didn’t specifically share that she UNDERSTOOD his point of view.” (You can read her full post here.)
Swift has yet to comment on the whole situation either, save for this post on Instagram.
