Police say charges have been laid against a Halifax man following a six month investigation by RMCP and the Serious Organized Crime Unit.
This week, RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Ivanhoe Street where they seized 2.2 kilograms of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and 14 cases of contraband cigarettes. $75,000 in cash was also seized from the residence.
Khalid R. Mansour, 49, was arrested and has been charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.

Mansour is scheduled to appear in court on August 8.
RCMP say their investigation is ongoing and that more charges are expected.
