WINNIPEG — There will be plenty of activities involving the outdoors in and around Winnipeg this weekend, and if you’re going to be outside make sure you have enough water on hand.
Temperatures are looking seasonal and even a bit warmer through the weekend but dewpoint levels will be high making it uncomfortable for some.
Rain could also make an appearance and our first real threat of seeing it could come Saturday overnight in the form of a thunderstorm.
Conditions will be favourable for those to occur so be sure to keep and eye on the forecast as things could change.
The rain Winnipeg was to see Thursday night really didn’t materialize, but other areas in the Red River Valley most definitely saw it.
Here are some rainfall totals from Thursday evening: (courtesy CoCoRaHS)
- Morden: 15 mm
- Emerson, Stuartburn: 20 mm
- Brandon: 25 mm
- Vita: 30 mm
- Sundown: 54 mm
