Ahead of Friday’s Purolator Tackle Hunger game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Eskimos announced a $5,000 donation to the Edmonton Food Bank Wednesday morning. The money will equate to 10,000 pounds of food for those in need.

The Eskimos encourage fans heading to the game Friday to bring a non-perishable food or a cash donation for the food bank. Every $1 donation will turn into two pounds of food.
