A reporter in New York took a stand against Donald Trump Tuesday, penning an angry, open letter to the man who signs her paycheques and also happens to be Donald Trump’s son-in-law.

The letter entitled, An Open Letter to Jared Kushner, From One of Your Jewish Employees, was written by Dana Schwartz, an entertainment writer for the New York Observer.

In the letter, she questions how Kushner is still able to support his wife Ivanka Trump’s father after he issued a tweet on Saturday that allegedly included anti-Semitic references.

Schwartz says she responded to the meme, “calling out its blatant anti-Semitic imagery” and was bombarded with hate-filled responses.

On Saturday, Trump was forced to reissue a tweet after Twitter users issued charges of anti-Semitism.

The deleted tweet featured an image of Hillary Clinton with the words “History Made” as well as “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” with the latter phrase being contained inside a six-pointed star. The graphics were laid over a pile of cash.

On Monday, Trump blamed “the dishonest media” for mistaking the image with the Star of David.

In the letter, Schwartz condemns Trump’s response, writing, “instead of acknowledging the obvious, he and his campaign used it as an opportunity to undermine the free media in the style of the most dangerous regimes in history.”

She also points to how the tweet has received full support from former KKK boss David Duke, and says, “Your father-in-law’s repeated accidental winks to the white supremacist community is perhaps a savvy political strategy if the neo-Nazis are considered a sizable voting block—I confess, I haven’t done my research on that front.”

This leads to, perhaps, her most damning statement, where she tells her boss: “But when you stand silent and smiling in the background, his Jewish son-in-law, you’re giving his most hateful supporters tacit approval.”

Kushner issued a statement in response that reads: “My father-in-law is an incredibly loving and tolerant person who has embraced my family and our Judaism since I began dating my wife,” Kushner said in the statement. “I know that Donald does not at all subscribe to any racist or anti-semitic thinking. I have personally seen him embrace people of all racial and religious backgrounds. The suggestion that he may be intolerant is not reflective of the Donald Trump I know.”
