Halifax police are investigating a fatal workplace accident that occurred in Bedford Thursday.
Officers say that shortly after 3 p.m. a man fell from a ladder in the area of Douglas Drive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Forensics investigators, as well as investigators from the Department of Labour, are on the scene.
Police say the victim’s name is not being released as they wait to notify next of kin.
