A newly commissioned mural in downtown Halifax is showing off the east coast hype for the Toronto Raptors.

Commissioned by the Raptors and Bank of Montreal, it’s one of many murals painted in cities across Canada in honour of the team.
“We love the Raptors, it meant a lot,” said artist Michael Burt.
Burt and fellow artist, Joey Cook, painted the mural on Blowers Street in Halifax at the beginning of the playoffs.
Following a second win on home court on Monday, the Raptors are tied with the Cleveland Cavaliers 2-2.
The two teams take to the court again Wednesday night in Cleveland, with Toronto hoping for a road win.
“I hope to see the Raptors go to the finals,” Burt said.
