VANCOUVER – The mother of four Vancouver Island siblings says photographs posted online of her children and their fugitive father in a park and bouncy castle could be a break in the case.
Alison Azer says she has spoken to RCMP about a new Facebook page apparently written by her ex-husband and dedicated to her children, though she considers it a cowardly act of propaganda.

A Canada-wide warrant remains in place on charges of abduction in contravention of a custody order for Saren Azer, a well-known Canadian doctor of Iranian descent.
The father is believed to have taken the children to northern Iraq, in a region embroiled in ongoing conflict with Islamic State fighters.
The Facebook page includes an open letter purportedly written by Azer, in which he describes each child’s condition and says everyone has found peace and is happy.
