WHITBY, Ont. – Provincial police say they’re investigating the discovery of a body near Highway 401 east of Toronto.
Investigators say the body was found on Thursday in a creek near the highway and the ramp to Thickson Road in Whitby, Ont.

An autopsy conducted on Friday determined the body was that of a female and the only description is that she had short dark hair.
OPP say the body remained unidentified and they could not supply an approximate age as of late Friday afternoon.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.
