WINNIPEG — A 47-year-old woman received two hefty fines from Manitoba RCMP after she was caught speeding, and then talking on her phone while driving.
RCMP said the woman was speeding on Highway 2 in the RM of Grey.
When a police officer went to go pull her over, the driver picked up her cell phone to make a call.

That’s when RCMP slapped her with two fines; a $403.25 ticket for speeding and a $203.80 fine for distracted driving.
In total she was fined $607.05.
