“Should I put the beer down?” is not a question you would expect to hear from Mark Zuckerberg at the beginning of an interview – but the Facebook CEO was living quite a different lifestyle 11 years ago.

At the time, it was really only an online directory for college campuses.

In the spot there is also a brief tour around Facebook’s first office in Palo Alto, Calif., where employees are seen doing keg stands and a fridge appears to be stocked with nothing but beer (no joke).
What’s interesting about the interview is it shows Zuckerberg wasn’t thinking beyond the scope of college students using Facebook. The website now boasts over a billion monthly active users.
“I think Facebook is an online directory for colleges,” he said during the interview. “A lot of people are focused on taking over the world. I really just want to see everyone focused on college.”
