UBC RCMP say they have opened an investigation into an incident at the student family residence, Acadia Park.
They are investigating a sexual abuse case involving a 11-year-old and a few younger children.
Investigators are not releasing many details at this time, but say the Ministry of Children and Family Development has been engaged.
The UBC RCMP is the lead investigative agency and they are working with the families affected by this case.
