CAA South Central Ontario launches worst roads campaign

TORONTO – The 2016 version of Ontario’s month-long worst roads campaign kicks off for yet another round of voting.

“We want to know the worst road you have driven on in Ontario. Whether the issue is congestion, potholes, road signs, traffic lights or pedestrian and cycling safety, we want to hear from you,” said Caroline Grech, Government Relations, CAA South Central Ontario.

CAA South Central Ontario is urging Ontarians to go online and vote for the roads most in need of repair and redesign. Voting will end April 29.

CAA will unveil the top ten worst roads in May. Last year, Algonquin Blvd. W. in Timmins was voted the worst.

Ontario’s Top 10 Worst Roads for 2015:

  1. Algonquin Blvd. W., Timmins
  2. Algonquin Blvd. E., Timmins
  3. Dufferin Street, Toronto
  4. Highway 144, Greater Sudbury
  5. Carling Ave., Ottawa
  6. Radical Rd., Port Dover
  7. Burlington St. E., Hamilton
  8. Riverside Dr., Timmins
  9. Dominion Rd., Fort Erie
  10. Bayview Ave., Toronto
