There has been more violence on the streets of Surrey this morning.
A man is in hospital after being shot. Police responded to the area of 144 Street and 92 Avenue around 2 a.m. for reports of shots fired. They found shell casings in the area.
Shortly after that, a man showed up to Surrey Memorial Hospital with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The victim is a 23-year-old man from Surrey who is known to police. He is currently in stable condition.
Initial indications are that this is a targeted incident and officers are still looking into whether there are any links between this shooting and previous shots fired incidents over the past few weeks in Surrey.
