New York (0-2-0) was beaten by Montreal for the first time since March 23, 2013.

A giveaway by the Red Bulls led to the Impact’s first of the game.

Defender Gideon Baah’s clearance up the pitch was intercepted by substitute Johan Venegas, who had just come into the match seconds earlier. Venegas then fed Oduro in the box and the Impact striker made no mistake from 10 yards out.
