Cellphone video shows a fight that broke out between five female passengers aboard a Spirit Airlines flight from Baltimore to Los Angeles Wednesday.
The video shows the group of women throwing haymakers and pulling hair as shocked passengers looked on.
The Los Angeles Times reports the melee began over a dispute regarding a “boom box” that was apparently playing music too loudly during the flight.
The two reportedly intoxicated women playing the radio refused to turn off the music following passenger complaints and even held the boom box up in the air, Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry told the Times.
The brawl began when another group of passengers approached the two women, Berry said.
The Times reported that police met the plane when it landed and pulled five women involved off the flight. The FBI also investigated the incident but did not press any charges, according to the newspaper.
