CANDIAC – An accident on Highway 30 near the south shore suburb of Candiac has left a 36-year-old woman dead.
The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Friday.
According to provincial police, she was driving the wrong way on the highway and hit a pick-up truck head on.
The highway was closed for several hours while investigators worked on the scene.
The driver of the pick-up was sent to hospital to be treated for nervous shock, but was uninjured.
