WEST KELOWNA — West Kelowna RCMP have busted a fake prescription drug lab, which was using the deadly drug fentanyl in its production.
RCMP say at least five people have been arrested.
A half dozen police spent the day in hazmat suits searching Kandy and Krome Kustoms, a restoration and custom car shop, on Auburn Road.
The business is a large, disorganized collection of outbuildings, old cars and steel storage containers.
Fire crews and paramedics were also on site but there were no injuries reported during the raid.
The shop is located in the Westbank Industrial Park, which is located directly behind Constable Neil Bruce Middle School.
