WINNIPEG — A 43-year-old man is dead after police say he was assaulted twice by two people within “a short period of time.”
First responders were called to the 800 block of Main Street shortly before 3 A.M. after reports emerged of an assault in the area.
The man was taken to hospital in critical condition. He later died in hospital due to his injuries. Police are now looking for two suspects involved in the case, a man and woman.
The female suspect is described by police as “mid to late thirties with long black hair tied in a ponytail.”
The male suspect is described as being in his “early twenties with an average height and build.”
The Homicide Unit has begun its investigation. They are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call investigators at 204 986 6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786 8477.
