MARLBANK, Ont. – Provincial police say two dogs have been shot at homes near Marlbank, Ont.
Investigators say officers were called to a home on Feb. 15 after a man discovered that his dog had been shot twice in the rear hip area.
The dog, a male yellow Labrador retriever, was taken to a veterinarian and had to be euthanized.
Two days later, another resident of the same street told police that her three-year-old black Labrador had to be euthanized after apparently being shot in the head on Jan. 29.
