Police in Surrey and Delta  have been cracking down on an ongoing low-level drug war and it seems to be working.

Three men connected to the conflict are now facing charges.

They come after an investigation into a dial-a-dope drug line, which resulted in the large seizure of drugs and other items from two Surrey homes.

  • 21.46 grams of cocaine
  • 4.79 grams of heroin
  • 0.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • $70,85.00 in Canadian currency
  • seven vehicles used in drug trafficking

Crown Counsel has now approved 18 charges for the three men identified in the investigation.

Chaten Singh Dhindsa of Surrey, 20, has been charged with 10 counts of trafficking and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Jordan Singh Rana of Surrey, 21, has been charged with five counts of trafficking, one count of obstructing a police officer.

Davjit Singh Randhawa, 32, has been charged with one count of trafficking.

All three men are out of custody and will be summoned to appear in court at a later date. Court imposed conditions on the accused have been put in place to deter further criminal activity.

So far, 28 people have been charged in connection with the conflict, which has resulted in dozens of drive-by shootings.

“The CFSEU-BC will continue to target and prosecute those groups or individuals who are involved in criminal activities within BC,” said CFSEU-BC spokesperson Cst. Jordan McLellan in a release. “Having charges approved for these individuals will now hold them accountable for their actions which have negatively impacted the residents of Surrey and Delta.”
