Driver charged after wheels come off truck on Highway 401 near Ingersoll, Ont.: OPP

INGERSOLL, Ont. – Police say a driver is facing charges after wheels came off the rig of a tractor-trailer in southwestern Ontario.

OPP say they received a report of wheels coming off the truck as it exited Highway 401 and again as it turned onto Plank Line in Ingersoll.

Police say there were no injuries.

Investigators say 55-year-old Michael Bozzo of Innisfil, Ont., is charged with driving a commercial motor vehicle with wheels detached, and driving a commercial motor vehicle with a major defect.
