One man’s cougar encounter on Vancouver Island is making even wildlife experts jealous.
Adam Nash was luckily inside his vehicle when he spotted three cougars outside. The footage was captured Tuesday night near Courtenay and the sighting lasted about 15 minutes.
Experts say these are juvenile cats who are intensely curious and still growing into their bodies and paws.
Wildlife experts say Nash is lucky to have seen three cougars at once. While videos like this one are rare, encounters between humans and cougars on Vancouver Island are not.
