More than 800 Osoyoos residents packed into the Osoyoos Secondary School gym on Tuesday night, to try and find a way to keep local schools open.

The Okanagan Similkameen school board is faced with closing either Osoyoos Secondary School or Osoyoos Elementary.
Either way teens would be bused to Oliver, which is not a popular option with Osoyoos parents.
Another public meeting is planned for Mar. 8.
