Police are looking for help to identify a man who allegedly asked a young boy to get in his car in Dartmouth on Monday.
The 12-year-old boy was walking home around 3:50 p.m. in the area of Galaxy Avenue when a stranger reportedly stopped his car and asked the boy to get in.
The boy ran home and the man did not follow him.
Investigators say the suspect is described as a white man between 50 and 60 years old with short grey hair and a grey beard. He was wearing a black jacket and driving a small, older model grey car.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
