HAMILTON – Police in Hamilton are seeking the public’s help in locating evidence in a homicide case.
Police say a 25-year-old sex trade worker from Markham, Ont. – Tammy Le – was found strangled in a Hamilton hotel room last Saturday.
On Monday, the body of a man, described by police as a suspect in Le’s death, was discovered in a wooded area behind a school parking lot.
Investigators say they’d like to speak to a man who found a wallet on Saturday and returned it to a Hamilton address so they can determine exactly where the wallet was found.
Police say they also are trying to locate cellphones belonging to Le and the suspect and are asking people in the neighbourhood of the Admiral Inn to search their properties and call investigators if they find a smartphone.
Homicide investigators say they are no longer looking for suspects in the case.
